On Friday 22 September we took part in #MakeWayDay’s public campaign to raise awareness around obstacles that block the way and complicate the lives of people with disabilities in our communities. Make Way Day | Home Page
The Bree group have been working on a woodwork project under the supervision of Larry Parle. They cut out all the pieces, screwed them together, painted and varnished the stands. The group had great fun throughout the project and have already started brainstorming for their next project.

Individuals from Castlebridge, Bree and Monageer hubs got together this week and went to the Community Bocce Courts in Castlebridge to have a Bocce tournament. The sun was shining and was enjoyed by all!!!

Jim Byrne in the Bree hub completed the Dublin Marathon on the 29th of October. This is the second marathon that he has done, having already completed the Cork one. Jim’s time was 3 hours 41minutes.
Individuals from Bree and Castlebridge hub have completed a small machinery course on the 11th of August. This consisted of different parts of a lawnmower and strimmer and the health and safety around using both pieces of machinery.
