Bunclody AFC Inclusive Sports Event

Back in July, our Bunclody Hub was delighted to be invited to take part in an amazing two-day inclusive sports event hosted by Bunclody AFC, alongside other local services, including BEAM Services. It really was a wonderful opportunity to get involved, try new activities, connect with others and enjoy plenty of fun and laughter in a welcoming and inclusive environment. All while enjoying the lovely bit of warm weather we had.

There was something for everyone to enjoy, with a fantastic range of activities across the two days. From races and egg-and-spoon challenges to football, giant inflatables, a disco and plenty of entertainment from Mr Noisey, there was never a dull moment! The fun continued into day two, with a fabulous BBQ bringing everyone together to round off a brilliant event.

One of the highlights was the chance to catch up with familiar faces from the local community and reconnect with some old school friends. Events like these are a great reminder of the importance of community connections, shared experiences and creating opportunities for everyone to participate, have fun and feel included.

A huge thank you to BEAM Services for the invitation, Bunclody AFC for hosting such a fantastic event, and everyone who helped make the two days so memorable. Your hard work and enthusiasm created a truly special experience for everyone involved.

We had a brilliant time and are already looking forward to the next one!
