Reach Ability Sports Day

As part of Reach Ability’s 50th anniversary celebrations, we were thrilled to welcome so many of you to our Reach Ability Sports Day in the Astro Active. What an amazing day it was!

Sport Day Fun

From the moment the first event kicked off, the spirit of fun, friendship, and inclusion was in the air. Indoors, we had a fantastic mix of accessible games that had everyone smiling. It was great to have everyone laughing, and cheering each other on. Outdoors, the energy ramped up with classic races and friendly competitions that brought out the very best in all our participants. From first-timers to our seasoned Reach Ability sports day pros!

A huge well done goes out to everyone who took part. You gave it your all, supported one another, and went home with well-earned medals (and probably some sore muscles!). Whether you competed or cheered from the side-lines, you were part of what made the day so special.

We also want to give a big shout-out to our amazing team members who helped keep everything running smoothly throughout the day. From organizing the events to handing out medals and keeping everyone hydrated, your efforts didn’t go unnoticed.

Of course, the BBQ was another major highlight. Thank you all for your patience while we fired up the grills and got everything cooking. The delicious food was well worth it in the end.

We were so happy to see families, friends, supporters, and staff coming together to celebrate not just a Sports Day, but 50 incredible years of Reach Ability. For five decades, we’ve championed inclusion, independence, and opportunity for people with disabilities, and days like this remind us why we do what we do.
