This summer, Reach Ability was alive with colour, creativity, and community spirit. Thanks to our wonderful Mosaic Project! Guided by the brilliant Helen McClean (@hmclarts) and made possible through the generous Reach funding from WWETB. Our mosaic workshops in July and August were nothing short of magical.
Over 50 participants from our nine Reach Ability Community Hubs joined us. Bringing their talent, creativity, and joy to every session. Each week, the workshops buzzed with laughter, collaboration, and artistic experimentation, as everyone contributed to creating stunning mosaic pieces.
Thank You
A huge thank you goes out to: Helen McClean for her inspiring guidance and support. Everyone who attended, sharing their creativity and making the sessions so vibrant. The WWETB for funding this project through the Reach Fund and making it all possible.
The resulting mosaics are a true celebration of teamwork, imagination, and skill. We are thrilled to announce that these beautiful pieces are now proudly on display at Dill & Pickle, Bellefield, ready for the community to enjoy!
Mosaic Launch Event
On Monday 29th September, the project was officially opened by Barbara-Anne Murphy, Cathaoirleach Enniscorthy Municipal District. The event was a joyful celebration of the dedication and creativity of everyone involved, and a perfect way to showcase the incredible work from our summer workshops.
These vibrant mosaics are more than just art, they reflect the spirit, talent, and joy of our community. We warmly invite you to visit Dill & Pickle and see these pieces for yourself!
This project is also part of our 50-year celebration of Reach Ability (1975–2025). Stay tuned for our next milestone: the opening of a special photo exhibition on Friday 17th October in Bellefield, where everyone is welcome to join the festivities.
